HE WAS DRESSED IN A FLORAL SHIRT, CARRYING A SMALL BAG OVER HIS NECK WITH SHADES ON HIM. HE GENTLY HELD HER HANDS AS THEY WALKED THROUGH A BOULEVARD OF THICK LUSH GIANT TREES.
THE PATHWAY WAS SURROUNDED WITH A SPLENDOR OF YELLOWISH GREEN LEAVES CLOUDING THE MORNING SUNLIGHT. A PICTURE PERFECT OF AN ELDERLY COUPLE ENJOYING THEIR COMPANIONSHIP WHILE TAKING A MORNING STROLL TOGETHER.
Sounds like an ordinary day for some of us? If you look closer, you could feel that the closeness shared between the two could not be described with mere words alone. It was their personal moment. There could be special moments in our lifetime that we treasure deeply, hoping that we could freeze them for as long as our hearts desire.
It could be our first kiss, the birth of a new born, a graduation day, winning a race, reaching out to those in need, spending time with the kids or just a dream trip to the North Pole. Some of these moments could be a life changing experience, making us who we are today.
Photography makes it possible to capture every major milestone of our lives. It is no longer about the art of taking pictures but it has evolved to sharing personal moments. When photography is taken with our hearts, it is able to unleash the visual experience with real emotions, connecting us to the people and their moments.
This exhibition titled FEEL hopes to share touching moments of the people who have motivated me to do my best. They tell amazing stories of courage and love for our family, friends, work and humanity.
I love photography and I am passionate about it everyday. It has given me a different perspective of understanding what our lives are like through the lens. I learned to be humble, see the world with love and to appreciate life even more. The experiences gained were indeed rewarding for they have brought me great moments of joy, laughter and happiness.
I feel privileged to be part of every moment that I have captured. An unforgettable moment that has enlightened me was seeing how families with children grow from strength to strength around the world.
As an active traveler, I have witnessed expressions of love that are unique and colourful yet alike despite belonging to different cultures of families whom I have visited. These expressions can be seen from the images of happiness shown on the newlyweds faces, the joy of a father cuddling his child, a toddler’s infectious smile, children’s play time and more.
Such precious moments leave a special footprint in my heart.The collection of photos showcased in this exhibition was captured throughout 15 years of my journey as a photographer which has given me the opportunity to meet many new people, build new friendships and learned about the wonders of life from a diversity of culture and people. Most importantly, they are a great source of inspiration to pursue my dreams. Life is wonderful be it in good and challenging times, constantly helping us to grow. Each moment happens for a purpose, guiding us closer to our destiny. This exhibition may not present the most beautiful pictures in the world but the moments captured were certainly very meaningful to me. I hope they will touch others, showering them with abundance of love and joy just as they have touched mine.
FEEL is the epitome of love that sizzles our passion to visualize a life filled with joyful moments.The presence of love has the strength to make dreams come true if we believe in its power. It is my heartfelt wish that my work is able to add value to others and will continuously delight people, blessing them with eternal happiness.
